How do I send a donation?

Open a streamer's profile (browse them on the Streamers page), enter an amount and an optional message, then complete payment. No account is required to donate.

Will my message be read aloud?

Yes — if the streamer has Text-to-Speech enabled and your donation meets their minimum, your message is read on their stream in Amharic or English. Streamers can filter certain words.

Why wasn't my message read?

It may be below the streamer's minimum donation amount, contain a blocked word (shown masked and not voiced), or the streamer's overlay may have been offline at the time.

Can I get a refund?

Donations are generally non-refundable. For payment issues, contact [email protected] with your transaction reference.

How do I get started?

Create an account, complete your streamer profile, then open Dashboard → Alert Overlay to customize your alert image, sound, fonts, TTS language, and minimum donation.

How do I add the overlay to OBS / Streamlabs?

Copy your overlay URL from the Alert Overlay page and add it as a Browser Source in OBS, Streamlabs, or TikTok Live Studio. Keep it running while you stream so alerts play live.

Can I block certain words in messages?

Yes. In Alert Overlay → Content you can enable the filter and add blocked words. Matching words are masked and not read aloud.

What fees apply to a donation?

Two fees apply before the amount reaches a streamer's wallet:

• Payment processor fee — the third-party payment provider that handles the transaction charges a processing fee on every donation. This is set by the provider, not by YeneTTS.
• YeneTTS platform commission — YeneTTS keeps a commission on each donation to run the service. Current rates are shown on the Pricing page (lower on Pro).

The remaining amount is credited to the streamer's wallet. Your wallet balance always reflects the real, withdrawable amount after these fees.

How do payouts work?

Your wallet balance accrues from completed donations (after the fees above). You can request a withdrawal from your dashboard to a supported Ethiopian method such as Telebirr or CBE Birr, subject to the minimum payout amount and verification. Withdrawals are free — YeneTTS covers the transfer fee, so you receive your full wallet balance.

Why is my payout less than the total donated?

Because the payment processor fee and the YeneTTS commission are taken from each donation before it reaches your wallet. Both are applied automatically and shown in your donation history.
